"Failed to Launch" Status (Custom frame range)

If you get a "Failed to Launch" Status when submitting your render, check whether or not you have used the "Custom Frame Range" option.

Most likely you have selected a custom frame range, submitted your job, then were surprised with a "Failed to Launch" status. The simply because the frame range was set incorrectly:

  • 1,5,18,200

The correct way is to select your frames with no commas:

  • 1 5 18 200

Just re-submit the job again with the correct formatting and you should be all set!
