Economy (Least Expensive)

Economy Saves you 50%

Economy is a great option for projects you don't need done in the next few hours; its great for projects where you have a little more time until delivery.  Economy is a great tool allowing you to leverage Render Rocket servers for the less critical work and keep you higher priority work rendering on your in-house machines.

When you render with Economy you are entering your render into our system at a lower priority and an economy job may wait for a period of time before it starts to render.  This could be up to several hours; it all depends on how many economy jobs are ahead of you and how busy our farm is when you launch your job.

Economy uses credits just like on demand but it uses them at a lower rate, this lower rate equates to a lower overall cost.

  • On Demand Rendering - 1 Render Credit = 1 Core hour
  • Economy Rendering    -  5 Render Credits = 10 Core hours
  • Savings 50%

Big Savings!

Economy really can save you big when you purchase one of our pre-paid render packages offering a per-credit discount. Combine a lower per-credit rate with a 70% savings and that is like rendering almost for free!

For example:

Purchase a $995.00 package with 2370 credits priced at .42 cents per credit. Using economy your 2370 credits will get you 4740 core hours of processing or .21 cents per core hour of processing!

Is Economy Right For My Project?

Who should use it?

Economy mode pricing is designed to allow you to use Render Rocket on your everyday projects that are not driven by a looming deadline.  It is an ideal solution when you don't want to tie up local resources to get your job completed at the best pricing available.  Economy Mode can be used for any size job large or small. *Economy is not available for educational or non-profit users.

How does it work?

When a job is launched in Economy Mode it is entered into the render queue in the order it’s received.   Standard mode jobs in the queue render first and then Economy jobs.  Each Economy job will be entered into the queue in the order it was received.  Render start times will depend on the amount of jobs running in queue when Economy renders are submitted and how long it will take for the jobs ahead of it to complete.

How long will I have to wait?

Once you select Economy Mode to launch your render our system will let you know the approximate wait time for your render to start.  This is based upon the number of jobs already in the render queue, those rendering and the number of other Economy Mode renders ahead of yours.   Please note, this is a rough estimate and not in anyway a guarantee, and only jobs without urgent deadlines should be submitted in Economy mode.

Can I change my priority?

Once you launch your render in Economy Mode should you decide you need your render to start sooner; simply change the Mode.  Once you make this change your job will launch at your newly selected mode and charge at the newly selected mode rates.

Who can use it?

Anyone with a Render Rocket account and is purchasing regular render credits can use the Economy Mode.  Economy Mode is not available to educational customers who already enjoy deeply discounted rates and packages.

How Much Do I Save?

Economy Mode will use your regular render credits at an adjusted rate.

  • Standard Mode Rendering:   1 Render Credit = 1 Core hour
  • Economy Mode Render:        5 Render Credits = 10 Core hours

You will saved 50% using economy over Standard Rendering
