When your render job finishes, you should see the status on the mission detail page change from “rendering” to “done(zip/rar packaging)” When the packaging completes, a download link will be available under the preview window.
You can also download the images before the packaging job completes by using FTP. You’ll find the images in your project’s “render” directory in your FTP account.
More details for these two options are below:
HTTP Download
When the render job has completed, a download link for the archived render files will become available on the Mission Detail page. If you have navigated out of the Mission Detail page, go to the Render History page and click the name of the project you wish to download. The link will take you to the Mission Detail page where the download link will be visible. To download the archive, click the download link and browse to the location on your computer where you wish the file to be downloaded. If your project completes but no download link is available, don't worry, the archive may still be processing. If the render has been completed for more than 10 minutes and no download link is available, the archive process may have died. If this happens the only option is to use FTP to download your completed project render files.
FTP Download
If the project is very large, or you would prefer to download the rendered project files separately, FTP allows you more access to your Render Rocket project files. Start your FTP application; this could be a third party application made specifically for FTP, or any internet browser application. Logon to ftp.renderrocket.com with your Render Rocket username and password, enter the projects directory, and then enter the directory of the project you wish to download. Inside your project's root directory, the packages directory contains the archives of the completed project files. If you wish to download the rendered project files individually, they are available in the render directory.
If you receive the error message "FTP permission denied." This is easily fixed by resetting the FTP permissions of your account. Render Rocket provides a tool to reset these permissions in the Account Settings page. Click the Reset FTP Permissions link. On the following page, enter your Render Rocket password and hit the Submit button. You should now be able to login to your Render Rocket FTP account. If you are still unable to do so, please visit our Support page for further assistance.
RAR or ZIP?
You can change the archive option for your completed render jobs in the User Profile page under Account Settings. Select a format from the drop down list next to preferred zip method.
