One of our most common issues for those rendering with C4D (any version) is they are missing their frames and output after their render is complete. There are a number of situations that can cause this error. Below we have listed the most common.
1. Missing textures. If you have not uploaded all textures, assets, reference objects/scenes, C4D will continue to render and complete successfully, only to find that nothing has been written to the disk. Best way to avoid this is to check and check again that EVERYTHING is uploaded before rendering. Or simple run a single frame test.
2."Save" inside C4D render globals is pointing to customers local machine. While this function is necessary to have checked, the path must be wiped out. If you open the render globals and you see something like this in the save field "C:\users\mike\desktop\test\render output\test123.jpg. That is telling C4D to render to your local machine, obviously Render Rocket will not find that path and not output anything. Be sure to clear this field, re-save your scene and upload.
3. All Textures and assets must be in either the "Source" folder OR the "tex" folder. As long as the textures are in one of these two places, our system will find them. For good measure you can also delete the path to these from inside C4D.
